Who’s That Squiggle?

When my husband was working in landscaping, his job required early mornings—so he’d head to bed before me most nights. One evening, purely to annoy me, he drew a random squiggle on my iPad. Intrigued, I took it as a challenge and decided to see what I could turn it into. What began as a one-off doodle quickly became my favorite late-night project. For weeks, each evening before he went to bed, my husband would leave me a new squiggle, and I’d transform it into a character—often complete with its own backstory.
